Cat Behavior
Anyone has known a cat will know that they seem to have the full range of human emotions - and many more besides. We can read a cat behavior to find out what is going on inside a cat’s mind - indeed a cat’s behavior is the language they speak to us in - rather than words.

Rolling Onto Its Back
If a cat rolls onto its back when you enter the room, it is a way for the cat to show you it is completely at ease with you - you should be honored!
Slow Blinks
As a fast blink is an indication of fear (meaning there is more time to see dangers), a slow blink is a sign of ease and even love to a cat’s owner.
Shaking of Paws
If your cat shakes its paws, it is the equivalent of our “ugggh!” or disgust. Think of when a cat steps into something it dislikes.
A ‘?’ Question Mark Tail
This is cat language for “I like you!”
Kneading Claws
The dreaded claw-kneading of a cat into your lap is a cat’s way of showing you it is happy. Cats gained this behavior when kittens, where a kneading action helps stimulate milk from the mother by which to feed.

Falling Over
This does not usually mean a cat will want its tummy rubbed (few do!), or that it feels submissive - as in dogs. More likely a cat falling over is a voluntary act, showing trust or affection also.
Tail Flicks
Tail movements are generally bad - meaning anything from minor irritation to outright aggression. The wider the tail flick - the further outwards a cat’s irritation. For instance a wide flick is aimed at others, a smaller flick is more likely due to some inner displeasure.
Rubbing Heads and Bodies
This is a classic cat way of showing affection.
